Thank you Akhil for the cover above franked with 3 stamps released on November 9, 2009 and depicting indigenous horses of India, namely: the Zanskari, the Kathiawari and the Manipuri. The fourth stamp of that set illustrates the Marwari.
The last two smaller stamps are from the definitive set on Indian personalities. Both Indira (1917-1984) and Rajiv Gandhi (1944-1991) were Prime Ministers of India, during 1966-1977 and 1980-84 for Mrs. Gandhi and from 1984 until 1989 for Rajiv Gandhi. They were also both assassinated. :(
