Mount McKinley in Alaska is the highest mountain peak in North America and the US, with a summit elevation of 6,194 metres above sea level. It is the centerpiece of Denali National Park and Preserve.
Edna St. Vincent Millay (1892-1950) wan an American lyrical poet, playwright and feminist. She was the third woman to receive the Pullitzer Prize for Poetry, and was known for her activism and many love affairs.
